Q:It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

A:Hmm…well let’s see. I feel like we’ve gotten a few questions like this before. But, I’m going to try to go with something different than my other answers this time.

So I’m going to go with The Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. First off, this is my favorite PNR series. Ever. Also, the characters are so much fun and the world is just so enjoyable to jump into. So, I think that would be an awesome world to make reality. Yo Nix! Wha-what!

Q:As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?

A:Are we talking forum/twitter profiles or website profiles? Here’s my profiles for you to see: Goodreads, Twitter, Blog About Page. Generally I go for the whole “I’m a book addict” schpeal. I know, I’m soooo original. Bah humbugh. lol

Q:Book Disappointments: Have you ever come across a book you were so stoked to read, but it failed miserably in your eyes?

A:First off, this is my first TGIF! Woot woot! But, oh yes, there’s been many. But that’s kind of a given when you read a lot. Let’s see though. The ones that stand out recently are: Juliet Immortal by Stacey Jay (didn’t hate it, but didn’t love it as much as I thought I would), One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost (LOVE this series, did not love this book), and actually the one I just finished Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles (I didn’t HATE this by any means, in fact I liked it, but I was disappointed in it COMPARED to the first two books). I’m sure there are ones I was more disappointed in than those, but those are the most recent examples of books I had super high hopes for (sometimes a bad thing) and they didn’t necessarily live up.

Yeah, my profile "about me" is pretty much the same everywhere as well. I had a hard time trying to pick a specific series that I wanted to live in. World wise or whatever! Just went with something general kind of!

Oh no!! I am sad to hear that Juliet Immortal was disappointing! It's pretty high on my TBR list and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm hoping in my case it's also a case of "I was looking so forward to it, that anything but absolutely fabulous would be a let down."

I haven't read the Immortals series, but have heard great things!

    Have a good weekend!

I don't think I've seen a positive review for Chain Reaction. It's always sad when a group of books ends badly. I've heard good things about Juliet Immortal, so good to know not everyone loved it.
    Happy Friday!

    • Chain Reaction was good, just not as good as the first two. I kind of think maybe she should've just stuck to the one book. Although I did like Rules of Attraction. But you know, she could've gone out with more of a bang if she just did Perfect Chemistry I think. Don't get me wrong, the Fuentes brothers are sexylicious, but I'm just saying.

Juliet Immortal was good, but for some reason that was one of those I had super ridiculous high expectations for, so I think that played a factor in my opinion.

Can anyone really just pick just one world that they would want to live in? I know that I put at least 4 :)

  11. This week’s Book Blogger Hop really threw me a curveball.

That’s because I don’t call myself a book blogger. I never even considered myself a book blogger. Sure I blog about books and book-related topics week after week. But for some reason I never saw the label of “book blogger” applying to me.

If you’re wondering why then please hop on over to my blog and find out – http://www.howardsherman.net
