1. Three favorite books that inspire your writing.
Corduroy by Don Freeman
Christy by Catherine Marshall
Once in a Lifetime by Danielle Steel
2. What you do when you’re not writing.
I stitch bookmarks, knit, quilt, crochet, paint ceramics, read, and watch my favorite movies and TV shows.
3. The hardest thing about writing for you.
Sitting at the computer. I can only sit so long before I get bored and feel as though I have to get up and do something. Even while sitting and watching TV, I am always doing something, usually craft related.
4. What you’re excited about right now.
I just finished up with my second and final cataract eye surgery, and I am excited that I’ll be able to read old printed manuscripts, my favorite books with small fonts, and the computer screen much easier.
5. Which book would you recommend a reader start with?
Pea Soup Disaster the first book for A Gregory Green Adventure series. https://www.amazon.com/Soup-Disaster-Gregory-Green-Adventure-ebook/dp/B07GTSKJG3
In this story, you get to meet Gregory Green and learn about the Green Family curse. You also find out that Gregory’s teddy bear, Sammy, can come to life and even talk!
BLURB: Gregory Green loves his mom’s pea soup, but when he eats it at school, all of his friends make fun of how it looks. He doesn’t think it looks like bugs, and it tastes good! Then at recess, his friends run from him, screaming, “He’s a monster!” Gregory doesn’t know why his friends are being mean until he sees his skin is green. The teasing gets worse until an unlikely friend comes to the rescue—his teddy bear, Sammy. Sammy usually only comes to life for Gregory and his family, but Sammy has an important lesson to teach Gregory and his classmates.
