Jude E. McNamara Loves A Happily Ever After

We interviewed romance and erotica author Jude E. McNamara! Read on to know about her favorite books, her hobbies, and the hardest thing about writing according to her!

Hi Jude! Thank you for letting us interview you. To start, we want to know what your three favorite books are that inspire your writing!

My three favorite books that have inspired my writing are 1). Creating Character Arcs by K.M. Weiland who writes about the craft of writing by creating wonderful characters; 2) Fifty Shades of Grey because it was the first romantic erotic trilogy that I had ever read where I hated for the story to end forcing me to say good-bye to that megalomaniac book boyfriend Christian Grey; and 3) most anything written by author J.J.McAvoy whose novels never cease to amaze me with her creative genius.

We know that as a writer, writing is basically your entire life. But what do you do when you’re not writing?

When I’m not writing I’m reading books, listening to audiobooks, and cooking. One of my future writing goals is to create a cookbook, so these days my passion for food and writing have merged.

What’s the hardest thing about writing for you?

The hardest thing about writing for me is getting started. I’m a panster at heart so I typically go where my characters lead me. They usually want to take off running before I do!

That’s great! What are you excited about right now?

I’m currently excited about imlovingbooks.com  I’m looking forward to learning more about many of the other new featured authors as well.

Finally, given that you have a couple of great books out now, which book of yours would you recommend that new readers read first?

I would recommend readers start with my debut novel Black Sequinned Bows And Champagne Nights  and its prequel novella Wingman. Its a multicultural/interracial romance that is both heartfelt and keeping you in suspense.
