BLOCKED: No such Mignon Mykel book exists

By Paige Sutton

I can’t write this review, and I want to be straight with you about why instead of quietly faking it.

I searched for “The Alpha’s Rejected Mate” by Mignon Mykel across Goodreads, Amazon, and general web results. It does not exist under that author. Mignon Mykel is a real, USA Today Bestselling author, but her actual catalog is contemporary small-town and sports romance: the Prescott Family series, Prescott Brothers, Playmaker Duet, Enforcers of San Diego, O’Gallagher Nights, Loving Meadows. Nothing paranormal, nothing werewolf or “alpha mate” themed, in her 41 published books.

“The Alpha’s Rejected Mate” is a real title, but it belongs to other, unrelated authors entirely: a Wattpad/app-fiction novel by Jennifer Eve (Moonlit Forbidden Love #2), another by Negef Writes (subtitled His Second Chance / Her Awakening), and another by Lori R. Thomas. There is also an unrelated 2023 TV mini-series with the same name. None of these connect to Mignon Mykel in any way I can verify.

Given the hard rule against inventing quotes, plot details, characters, or reception, and the instruction to ground the rating in actual consensus, I can’t responsibly generate 900 to 1300 words of specific scenes, character names, and reader reception for a book that does not exist under this author. Doing so would mean fabricating the entire thing while presenting it as a real review, which is worse than saying nothing.

My guess is either the title got attached to the wrong author somewhere upstream, or this is a placeholder/test entry. Before I write anything, I’d want to confirm: is this actually a Mignon Mykel title under a pen name or new pseudonym, is the author name wrong and it should be one of Jennifer Eve, Negef Writes, or Lori R. Thomas, or is this a different book entirely that I should search for again with more detail (a subtitle, publication year, or cover image would help a lot).

Once that’s confirmed I can write the actual review, with real scenes and an honest rating grounded in real reception, same as every other post at imlovingbooks.com/reviews/. I’d rather come back to you with a question than hand you a review of a book that isn’t real.
