The Prophecies by Philip Carr-Gomm – A Historical Occult Romance
To betray his country, to betray his lover, or to betray his own soul? This is the question that Luftwaffe pilot Hermann Kaestner faces, when he falls in love with a French clairvoyant. The world has forgotten the Druidess of Broceliande, but at the height of her fame, she predicted the fate of the nations and the result of the war to thousands listening to her in the Salle Pleyel in Paris, while the French police rounded up the Jews outside, and German officers slept in the city’s best hotels. This story is based on the lives of Geneviève Zaepffel and Abbé Henri Gillard, creator of a church dedicated to the Holy Grail.

What Readers Are Saying
This is a book of complex honesty, a carefully crafted reminder that both heaven and hell exist. Prophesies is the tale of three people who live out their dreams (or obsessions) and then must deal with the consequences. Their dreams are of love, and spiritual exploration. The story itself is almost mythological in its power to challenge and confuse us.” – Sarah Fuhro, Amazon reviewer ★★★★★
This is a real move away from Philip’s usual style of writing, but I loved the mix of truth and fiction. This was further added to be the photos and the knowledge that places described were real; Made me want to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it!” – Amazon Customer ★★★★★
A wonderful story with real depth and insight into our complex human nature. Reading this book takes one on a journey to another time when so much was at stake. What makes it so unique is the spiritual perspectives and insights. And the characters are as real as they get. It is hard to write a good novel and even harder to end one well. Carr-Gomm does both very well.” – M. Baker, Amazon reviewer ★★★★★
